SMEA Executive Board
SMEA's Executive Board is made up of 12 elected or appointed positions. The Executive Board coordinates the business of the association. They appoint and provide direction the Bargaining Team through the bargaining process as well as develop the annual budget for the association.

I have been involved in the union from my first day here. I started as a site rep then on to Corresponding Secretary and PAC Treasurer and now I’m your Vice President. I was on the CTA State Council representing SMEA and represented San Diego County at the NEA Representative Assembly in Washington DC. It has been an honor to serve in this amazing union called SMEA. I have served SMEA for 19 of those years, as a site rep, corresponding secretary, vice president, and now negotiations and grievance chair. I have also served on a variety of committees throughout. I look forward to serving the teachers of SMUSD! |
