SMEA Executive Board
SMEA's Executive Board is made up of 12 elected or appointed positions. The Executive Board coordinates the business of the association. They appoint and provide direction the Bargaining Team through the bargaining process as well as develop the annual budget for the association.

I have served SMEA for 19 of those years, as a site rep, corresponding secretary, vice president, and now negotiations and grievance chair. I have also served on a variety of committees throughout.  SMEA High School Rep at Large - Brandon Maze Social Studies Teacher at San Marcos High since 2015 SMEA Site Rep since 2017 Former CTA State Council Representative for SMEA It is an honor to serve the Teachers and Students of SMUSD |  Rikki Kuykendall-Middle School Rep At Large Hi Everyone, This is my 16th year in education, all of which has been with SMUSD in the middle school grades. I have been a site rep while at San Marcos Middle, San Elijo Middle and DPS K8. I look forward to serving SMEA as corresponding secretary. |  Digital Media Chair-Hayley Haubner This is my 8th year as an elementary teacher in San Marcos, but I was a student in the district from 1998-2011! I currently teach 5th Grade at Richland Elementary, and I have also taught kindergarten at San Marcos Elementary and 4th Grade at Joli Ann Leichtag Elementary. I am grateful for this opportunity to serve the wonderful teachers of SMUSD! |
 Treasurer-Robert Gordon I am in my eighth year of teaching in the San Marcos Unified School District, and I am excited to be a part of the SMEA Executive Board as the Interim Treasurer after the retirement of Patti Mason.
